The Bell Racing brand enjoyed an exciting start to the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship season at the Australian Grand Prix opener in Melbourne. Wearing our helmets, Lando Norris of McLaren, the defending Constructors’ champion team, took victory in a race made thrilling by changing weather conditions after starting from pole position.
The British driver is one of 14 on the grid to use our HP77 model, which remains the absolute benchmark in Formula 1 for safety, comfort and performance, with a sophisticated carbon fiber shell and advanced protection solutions required by the FIA 8860-2018 ABP standard, the strictest ever, such as the ballistic materials positioned above the visor.
So again this year, 70 percent of F1 drivers are wearing Bell Racing helmets, including George Russell, third on the podium ahead of teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who finished fourth in his debut Grand Prix after starting from 16th.
The roster of F1 drivers equipped with Bell Racing helmets also includes 7-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, who has switched to Scuderia Ferrari HP alongside Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri, Fernando Alonso, Carlos Sainz, Liam Lawson, Pierre Gasly, Alex Albon, Esteban Ocon, Oliver Bearman, and Gabriel Bortoleto.
The 2025 Formula 1 calendar consists of 24 rounds, with the closing round scheduled in Abu Dhabi on December 7, and six weekends that also include the Sprint Race on Saturday. Over the course of the year, with a wide variety of tracks and weather conditions, also helmets can be a decisive element in allowing each driver to achieve maximum result.
